Your acceptance of these Conditions is indicated by your use or purchase of a Barnes And Noble Gift Card, E Gift Card, Gift Certificate, or other stored value product (collectively, “Gift Cards”). These Terms and Conditions apply to all Gift Cards. Whether acquired in-store, online, or from third parties unless otherwise provided by law.

Barnes & Noble Gift Cards Can Be Used At Any Barnes & Noble Location

Barnes And Noble Gift Card Can Be Used at Any Barnes & Noble Location nationwide, as well as on BN.com unless otherwise noted. They can also be used at any B. Dalton Bookseller, Barnes & Noble College, or Book star outlet.

Gift Card Balances

Gift Card balances are not subject to maintenance, dormancy, or service fees. There are no expiration dates on Barnes and Noble Gift Card.

Keep Your Gift Cards In A Safe Location

write down your Gift Card number and PIN. Unauthorized Gift Card use is not our responsibility. Lost or stolen Barnes and Noble Gift Cards will only be replaced with proper proof of purchase AND the Gift Card number, up to the remaining balance.

Except As Required By Law
Gift Cards are not redeemable or refundable for cash. In any 24 hours, the total cost of the initial load and/or all reloads cannot exceed $2,000. At any given moment, no Gift Card may have an active balance of more than $2,000 on it.
They can be used to purchase annual memberships in their membership program (continuous billing memberships require a valid credit card).

Gift Card Usage Of Buying Non-Books
Gift cards can be used to buy NOOK Books and single issues of NOOK Newspapers and NOOK Magazines. They cannot be used to pay for NOOK Newspaper or NOOK Magazine subscriptions. To use a Gift Card to purchase a NOOK Book, single-issue NOOK Magazine, or single-issue NOOK Newspapers. Go to the “My Account” tab and click on the “Manage Gift Cards for eBooks” link.

Even if you’re redeeming a Gift Card, you’ll need to save a default credit card to your account if you want to buy a NOOK Book, NOOK Newspaper, or NOOK Magazine. Any available Gift Card balance will be redeemed first when you purchase a NOOK Book, single-issue NOOK Newspaper.

“Rewards” may be given to you or received by you

“Promotional gift cards,” “credits,” “vouchers,” ” Barnes Noble Coupon Code,” or other similar physical or electronic gift cards from time to time (collectively, “Promotional Cards”). (“MSL” or “we”) is the sole obligor to cardholders and is the issuer of all Gift Cards. Barnes & Noble is neither the issuer nor the obligor of the card.

MSL reserves the right, except where prohibited by law, to amend the conditions of the Barnes and Noble Gift Card program at any time or to contract with another entity to operate the program.

Out Comes Of Unavailability Of Gift Cards

If the Gift Card system is temporarily unavailable, you may be unable to get information about your Gift Card balance and transactions, as well as use your Barnes and Noble Gift Card to pay for purchases. MSL has the right to assign this agreement and the Barnes and Noble Gift Card Program at any time and without notice. MSL will cease to be the card issuer and obligor in the case of such an assignment. The assignee will become the sole obligor to cardholders.

Dalton Gift Card Or A Barnes & Noble Gift Certificate

A B. Dalton gift card or a Barnes & Noble.com gift certificate may be in your possession. B. Dalton gift cards can be used in any Barnes & Noble or B. Dalton Bookseller location, as well as online at BN.com. Barnes & Noble gift certificates, unlike other gift cards.
